Twin Town Challenge 2016 - 2022 Car Graphics
The Twin Town Challenge is an event to raise money for a charity called Special Effect, which create personalised specialist gaming consoles for people with disabilities. The event takes place every 2 or so years (with a large break over COVID lock down). The challenge is for local businesses buy a car for £500, decorate it to a theme and drive to France whilst being sponsored, partaking in games and raising money. Oxford Products briefed me to create the designs for the cars, I used Illustrator to create the designs. These were then sent to a local car wrapping company.
Twin Town 2016
The 2016 theme was "Transport". As Oxford Products is a Motorcycle and Cycle company I decided to do a Cruiser Motorcycle on one side and a matching Cruiser Bicycle on the other, symbolising both sides of the business.
Twin Town 2018
For Twin Town 2018 the theme was "Movies". Promoting the Oxford brand as well as HJC Helmets - a brand they distribute I decided to do a mix of Star Wars and Spiderman slit on either side of the car. This matched with HJCs recently released Helmet graphics which I also did the advertising for.
Twin Town 2022
Due to COVID there was a large gap between these two Twin Town Challenges. For this years car the theme was "Music", Oxford Products decided to go with an X-Factor theme, calling their car The OX Factor. I was asked to keep it simple this year, but still had fun with designing the car.
